Kriðpleir makes a music video for Snorri Helgason

In collaboration with artist Óskar Kristinn Vignisson, Kriðpleir has made a music video for Snorri Helgason's new song Einsemd(Solitude). It's released on Wednesday 8 June.

In the video, Snorri's sweat and tender tune is match with footage from a self-improvement class for the unemployed lead by Kriðpleir. Veteran Kriðpleir followers might recognise a resemblance between the video and Kriðpleir's performance Tiny Guy, which was premiered in 2012 and has since been performed in various places, most recently in Austria and Switzerland last fall.

Kriðpleir's core members, Árni Vilhjálmsson, Friðgeir Einarsson, Ragnar Ísleifur Bragason and Bjarni Jónsson, all appear in the video along with actor Albert Halldórsson, artistic director of Mengi Elísabet Indra Ragnarsdóttir, artist Sigrún Hlín Sigurðardóttir, multi-talent Þórir Bogason, student Margrét Sif Sigurðardóttir and football striker Þórir Guðjónsson.

Óskar Kristinn is a visual artist and an up-and-coming maker of music video's.
